Smile!

We had a rough start this morning. Sadie up most the night with a fever and John was just up. Didn't want to be left out I guess, but this morning he was all smiles and made my crappy night worth it!

Boise States littest fan!

Yep here he is!

Bath Time!!!

Hooray for bath time! John loves it, I've never seen a baby so calm during their bath!

He needs to hold a hand during baths. That's what I'm here for!

Got a little hungry I guess!

Lovin his bath!

Handsome boy!

The first 3 weeks!!

My how time has flown by. I can't believe that John will be 4 weeks old tomorrow. I know little ones grow, I've seen it happen, I'm just not ready for mine to grow! John is a wonderful baby. Quite the opposite of his sister. He only cries if he needs something and it is easy to calm him. He wakes up only twice in the night (although sadie was sleeping through the night at this point!), it has been a good first 3 weeks.
That first week was rough as it is with any newborn, but it was more emotionally trying that physically. Nate had to return to work after only a few days and I was not prepared for that. Nate had to sleep during the day and then works 12 hours at night, so he was only available to help me for about 3-4 hours a day. I missed him terribly and cried every night he left. Anxiety began to take over so I decided to take the semester off from school and that helped immensely. I looked to the blessing Nate had given me for strength. Eventually the stress and anxiety went away and things have been peaceful ever since. Life is good and I am so grateful for all the Lord has given my family!
